ABOUT
The Board is responsible for the governance of the Library and is comprised of six appointed board members, representing the City of Ionia, Easton Township and the Ionia Public School District. They meet the third Wednesday of the month at 6 PM on the second floor of the library in the administrative office. Each participating municipality or school district appoints two board members who must reside in its portion of the District. Board members serve four-year terms and may be reappointed; in the case of filling a vacancy, the newly appointed board member serves the remainder of the term and may be reappointed.
