Your financial donation to the Ionia Community Library works toward a common goal to serve our community. You’ll be helping people live richer, fuller lives through lifelong learning; for many, this begins at the Library.   Your donation to the Library is tax deductible.

Memorial Donations

 

Monetary gifts are welcome. They may be given in honor or in memory of a person. Donors may request the type of material and the subject area.

Here’s how it works:

· You can download the library’s Commemorative Request Form to make your tax-deductible     gift.

· A book or other material will be purchased to recognize the person or event.

· A bookplate identifying the person or organization being recognized, and recognizing you as the donor, will be placed in the book.

· A letter announcing your gift will be sent to the individual or family you indicate on the form.

· Payment may be made online at the above link, forms can be faxed to 616.527.6210 or emailed to ion@llcoop.org.

·  If paying by check, please make out to the Ionia Community Library and mail along with the     completed form to:

Bequests

 

One of the most enduring gifts is a bequest through your will, life insurance, or trust. Donations such as these create a legacy that demonstrates a commitment to public library access.

 

 

Material Donations

 

Donated materials become the property of the Library. Materials may be added to the collection, sold on our indoor book sale cart or given to the Friends of the Library to be sold at their used book sales. Proceeds from the sale support library materials, projects and programs. A receipt for donated material is available for tax purposes at the circulation desk.
